Hunt'n Dawgs!!

Boy, I tell ya these two just can't get enough! They LOVE to be outdoors and any chance they get they talk dad into taking them to the hunting club! They did pretty good for the few hours they were out this weekend, just enough for them to have a little feast last night!

Rope Halters

We went up to Wellsville this past weekend and a friend of ours taught Kyle how to tie these fancy knots and make rope halters. It took Kyle about an hour to catch on and now this all he wants to do. He loves to go out to the leather shop with Shawn and work. He has already learned how to tie cinches and now he is making rope halters. He is so smart he amazes me everyday Ü He decided he wants to try and sell some for some extra money for hunting season.. Go figure! If your in need of a nice rope halter they are only $12.00.

Spring Fever

My boys have had spring fever and were just itching to get out in the sun and do a little hunting. They still had some birds at the hunting club so they decided to take the day and enjoy the nice weather. They even came back sunburned!

Powder Mountain

The boys have been bugging us to take them skiing this year. We finally gave in and let them go. Scott and Erin (Shawn's brother and wife) were so nice to go up and help with the boys. They were having such a fun time they ended up staying until they turned off all the lights!

Here's your sign!

We finally got our sign made for the Leather Shop. We will now be able to advertise from the street to get the word out a little better! If you know of anyone that needs these kinds of goods be sure to send them our way!

We Found "GOLD"

Shawn and the boys decided to try out a new place ice fishing today and boy did they hit the jackpot. Golden Trout that is... The boys thought it was so cool to be able to catch something a little different for a change and what a beautiful day. They all came back sunburned to boot!

Our New Toy

Shawn and the boys have been wanting a snowmobile for a while to take ice fishing and for tubing out in the field. We lucked out and my brother in law offered to sell us his snowmobile for a really good price. Shawn went root'n through his stash and found enough $$ and there you have it, We are now the proud owners of a snowmobile!

(hmm, I wonder if that's what he was up to all last week doing the dishes, helping with laundry and making the bed... It's all beginning to make sense now)

Flow Rider

We took the boys to flow rider for the first time today and boy did they have a ton of fun! We laughed so hard our sides hurt.

Shawn even enjoyed the view himself!

Archery

All geared up and ready to go.

Kyle's bow is set at 40 pounds so each time he shoots he has to pull back 40 pounds. Bulls Eye... Right where we like em. Kolt's bow is set at 30 pounds so each time he shoots he has to pull back 30 pounds.

Kyle & Kolt have started shooting with their Archey league again this year. They have been going once a week up to Brigham city to shoot. It is so fun to see how they have improved over the years. Kyle was only 7 years old when he started and now he is almost 13! Kolt was 6 or 7 too and now he's 10! They both have beefed up bows this year and it seems like each year they gradually find new things to add or do to improve their bows.I am beginning to wonder some days if this is their hobby or dad's hobby! (ha ha) I really think Shawn likes to watch the boys out due some of the adults! ( me too for that matter) I am so proud of them and thankful they get to spend this quality time with their amazing Dad. Shawn's pride and joy are the boys and he does anything and everything with them.
