Vegas Baby!

Shawn and I had a fun week last week. We left Saturday and drove to Las Vegas for the PBR world cup. We had a great time down there for 3 days shopping, laughing at the drunks, going to the show etc. After that we headed to St. George for 3 days so Shawn could go to a conference for work. While Shawn was at the conference I went shopping, got a pedicure, went to the movie and just plain relaxed! I have decided that I am just too fat, lazy and old for Vegas. I think I'll just stick to going once a year for the National Finals Rodeo, to me Vegas is just not the same when there are not thousands of good looking cowboys everywhere!

Waiting for the Rodeo to start. Each event winner gets a bunch of cash and a $20,000.00 gift certificate to go towards a new Dodge truck.
Swimming at the hotel
Kolt diving for quarters in the pool. Proof that these boys really do know how to load a dishwasher!
We had a fun little getaway this weekend. We took our annual trip up to Pocatello to watch the Dodge Circuit Finals Rodeo! We changed things up a bit this year and changed hotels. This time we actually were able to sleep and not hear all the parties after the rodeo. My brother in law found us some really nice rooms at the Marriott Town Suites, each room had it's own mini kitchen totally furnished. The boys had a great time making all kinds of stuff and they even enjoyed washing all the dishes. Next time they give me any lip about loading our dishwasher here at home I am going to show them this picture and prove to them they can do it!

Easter

Shawn and Grandpa Steve cooking Easter breakfast! We had a fun day on Easter. We went over to my dad's for breakfast, relaxed, played Frisbee and then went on a 5 mile bike ride down by the river. We started in West Haven and ended up at the Mountain Man Rendezvous at Ft. Buenaventura. (not sure how all that happened??) By the time we got there grandma Carol was so tired everytime we would stop and take a break her legs would give out and she would gracefully just tip right over! She would get back up, brush off and go again... it was so funny. She definately brings lots of laughter on our little adventures. Later that evening we went over to Shawn's parents for a BBQ.
