Merry Christmas

We had a very nice Christmas again this year! It is so nice to have family so close. All of our family on both sides just live minutes away. Very Thankful for the many nice gifts we received. My dad and Carol gave us a Green Mountain Smoker, my sister and Wayne gave us accessories for the smoker and Shawn's parents gave us money! Kyle got a bunch of stuff for his Jeep, hunting stuff and some tools. Kolt got a GPS, hunting stuff and some accessories for his RC car. We also had custom knives made for each the boys. The knife maker (Mark Luthi) was able to put our brand on the blade. The boys and I was able to surprise Shawn with a cordless drill set. He is also getting new 35 inch tires for the Jeep! As for me, I got a new gorgeous western wedding ring! Every girl needs a little bling bling for Christmas. Life is good...

Idaho Open-Pocatello Idaho

Shawn and the boys are trying to get in as many tournaments as possible before the World Archery Festival in Las Vegas this coming February. It started out pretty good and then all 3 for them really struggled on the final day. Kolt was having troubles with is new release and actually punched himself in the face twice. It watered his eyes and bloodied up his lips. Shawn's sight came loose and he did not realize it and kept adjusting his sight so when he finally noticed the sight was loose when it almost fell off he was all out of wack. Kyle ended up 1st place in the 2nd flight going into the final day and for some reason or another he just could not make good shots. He ended up 7th. Shawn ended up 9th and Kolt 5th in his division. It was fun but we just did not have the results they were hoping for. Better luck next year.

Las Vegas- NFR 2014

We had a great time in Vegas this year. The boys had the opportunity to work at the PSE Archery booth at the hunting expo! Their rep invited them to help set up bows and talk to people about buying a new bow. They actually worked from 9:30 to 4pm. It worked out nice because my sister and I went to Miss Rodeo America horsemanship and cowboy Christmas while the boys went to the Christmas Hunting Expo.
