The Forgotten Carols

We had a fun girls night out. We started the night with dinner at El Matador and then went to see The Forgotten Carols. It was the first time for both of us. We both LOVED it! So glad I have my sister to go do fun things with.

Idaho Open-Pocatello Field Archers

We had a fun time in Pocatello at the Idaho Open. Even though they all kinda struggled a bit they still earned a check. Kyle took 3rd in the Pro class. Kolt took 1st in his flight and Shawn was 7th in his flight. Kyle and Kolt also placed in the Pro-Am and will get a small check from that too. 

Utah Open

While we headed to Vegas for the NFR, Kyle was not able to come this year due to it was too close for his college finals. The only good part about it was he could finally shoot the Utah Open. It's held every year the same time we are in Vegas. He shot a perfect 300/300 both days and made it to the shoot off. He was able to come away with a 2nd place finish. Not too bad for him considering the 1st place shooter was Steve Anderson. He travels the world shooting.

Spots And Flakes 2016

First indoor tournament is in the books! Thanks to Datus for hosting Spots and Flakes. They did an awesome job! Kyle shot a perfect score Both days and made it in the shoot off. Kolt did not have his best tournament but he did learn a few things he's going to work on this week. The talent this shoot attracts is unreal. It's crazy to think a perfect score (750/750) will get you a 7th place finish. Those tiny X shoot off's are tough! It's amazing to watch him shoot right along the best of the best.The guys that travel the world promoting the sport of archery. I'm so happy my boys have found a sport they LOVE and have fun doing it!

First time at The Hump & Bump hosted by Vegas 4x4. The trails we did were Hidden Canyon and Lower Rock Bottom.

The weather was soooo warm. When we got back to the truck Saturday night it said the temperature outside was 100 degrees. I'm not sure if it was really 100 degrees but it was dang sure hot. I can't believe it since it's November. It sure made the trip fun!

Sister Trip- Tuachan

 

This year for our annual trip we went to St. George. It was my first time at Tuachan. We saw Tarzan and Peter Pan. It was so much fun!

 

Thriller

 

We went to dinner at Café Sabor and then Thriller up in Logan. It was sooooo good. I LOVED every minute of it!

Love My Country Boys

 

 

I sure do LOVE my country boys even if they are a little bit redneck!!! Kyle's out exercising horses on the walker and shooting grass hoppers. (the boy loves to shoot) Meanwhile Shawn and Kolt are hanging duck decoys from my tree in the front yard. Lol....(who knew you had to wash, sort and paint them)

Salsa 2016-Glad That's Done!

 

 

So glad to be done with this chore for the year!!! 20 quarts and 5 pints. This stuff is like gold. Lots of work but so yummy!
