Timp Archers Bowhunter Rendezvous & Strawberry Res.

We took at short little trip and stayed at Strawberry then drove over to the Timp Archers Bowhunter Rendezvous. It was a fun weekend but a little scary too. While driving up the canyon right before you get to Strawberry Shawn was side swipped by a truck pulling a Pontoon boat. The driver never even notice he had hit them. I am so thankful that they were not hurt at all and the only damage was to our drivers side mirror.Shawn filed a police report just to be safe but nothing ever happened. What's funny is while we were there someone also ran into our boat trailer and busted the light and bent the fender. Seriously what are the chances of that.  No note was left or nothing. They just took off. On a better note. Kolt earned some cash at the clay pigeon shoot out taking 2nd place and Kyle won the unmarked Smoker round and got a little cash himself. The smoker round was all unmarked yardage and the targets ranged from 30 yards to 110 yards. They could only bring their bow, release and 1 arrow. If you lost your arrow or ruined it somehow you were out of luck.

Archery Tournament & Strawberry Reservoir

It was one of those Rip'n lips and shoot'n sticks kind of weekend! We all shot the fun round at the Timpanogos Bowhunter Rendezvous this weekend up by Strawberry Reservoir. They boys shot the clay pigeon shoot down and Kolt walked away in 2nd place along with a little cash. Kyle shot the Smoker round and felt pretty solid. Hopefully he will walk away a winner too! The little bit of fishing the fit in was pretty good too. Shawn even kept a couple for Uncle Wayne to eat.

Fishing in Yellowstone 2015

Shawn, Grandpa Douglas and the boys had a great time fishing in Yellowstone. The weather was so nice and the fishing was awesome. So happy they can spend this precious time together creating everlasting memories.

Jeep'n Ouray Colorado

Words cannot describe how BEAUTIFUL this country is. It was so lush and green with waterfalls everywhere, even right in the middle of town. The weather was cooler so it was refreshing and a perfect getaway from the hot temps here at home. We rode several trails one leading into Silverton and another one into Teleuride. It was fun to stop and shop on main street.
