2nd day of Scout Camp.......

It was only Kyle's 2nd day at Scout camp and we had to bring him down off the mountain for stitches and repair the tendon he cut on his finger. He was trying to cut a branch off a tree and the knife slipped and there you have it. Kyle is so good with knives that it really surprises me, he carries a pocket knife in his pocket everyday and is always using it for something or another. I was in a meeting when my phone kept making noises so when I got out I checked it and I had a message from his Scout leader. Shawn was also in a meeting so he did not pick up his phone either. I got off the phone and called Shawn's dad because he was watching Kolt for me and that's when I lost it. I cried and cried. Shawn's dad went up and got him for me and met me at the house. My sister works for a hand surgeon so I called her and the Dr. said he would fit Kyle in, come to find out he was called out to an emergency surgery so we ended up waiting for awhile but they did give us food vouchers so at least I could go get the boys something to eat. I think I have just had enough drama lately. Shawn's Grandma was in the hospital for 11 days and then is in a therapy rehab place, Kolt has had all kinds of test and we were up to the hospital with him last Friday getting a test done on his bladder and then we had to go again this week for a test on his kidneys, then I just recently found out that I was pre-diabetic (my mom passed away from diabetes and MS) so that has kinda freaked me out to say the least. I think today was the straw that broke the camels back and of course it all had to happen at work in front of my whole office... not such a fun day. CALGON take me away. PLEASE.......
