1st Place

We had our Couples 3D Archery League banquet Friday night. They had a really yummy dinner and then we got to shoot for some really fun prizes. This year I got a super cute pink western purse, Hoyt t-shirt, water bottle and several hats. They also give out awards. I took 1st place in the women's handicap ans Shawn took 3rd in the men's handicap! We have had so much fun having a standing Friday night date night. We have met so many fun couples I will for sure miss until we get to see them again next year.

We took the boys and a friend up to the Bridger land 3D Classic in Cache Valley this past weekend. There were 30 different wildlife targets set at all different yards ranging from 15 yards to 55 yards. We just did the fun shoot but there were people also competing for money. We had a great time- (Notice the pink one right in the center?) It's mine.... Bulls eye! Silly boys-girls can shoot good too!

Caution-Student Driver

Yes--- It's true we now have a student driver in the house! Kyle got his learners permit. Now days the kids can get a permit at age 15 if they can pass the written and eye test. Once he turns 15 1/2 he will take Drivers Ed and then at 16 he will get his actual license. It's amazing how fast kids grow and mature, I'm not sure I'm ready for this stage of his life-Yikes!

Happy Birthday Kyle #15

Oh my how time flies! Kyle turned 15 today- He decided he wanted to go to breakfast at Jeremiah's and then go snow mobiling. We had a fun time spending the day together. He stays really busy with homework and Lacrosse it was nice to have a fun day in this wonderful spring like weather. We had family over for warm brownie sundaes and then tomorrow he will go and get his learners permit. I can't believe he will be driving already. They get their learners permit these days before any drivers ed classes. He will be able to drive as long as a parent is in the vehicle with him. He will take drivers ed when he is 15 1/2 and then at 16 he will get his drivers license. We are so happy to be blessed with such a good kid-We LOVE you Kyle.
