UBA State NFAA Championship Tournament

 

The boys had another great weekend. They shot both classes at the NFAA tournament. Kyle scored a perfect score both days. Freestyle he shot a 300 48 X's and came in 1st place and Bow hunter he shot a 300 with 43 X's which put him in 3rd place. Kolt shot a 292 38 X's and placed fourth in Freestyle. Bow hunter he shot a perfect 300 36 X's and placed 1st.

 

 



Nothing but 4.0

 

The report cards are in and the boys are doing AWESOME. Both have always gotten a 4.0 on their report card. It's exciting to see them succeed. They stay really busy with hunting, archery, riding horses and all but they both take pride in getting good grades. We rarely have to ask them about their homework.

Sportsman's Paradise-Hunting Club

Shawn and they boys had a great time at the hunting club today. The dogs worked good and there were plenty of birds! Kolt shot the most this trip. I'm sure they will have quite the feast going on when I get home from work tomorrow!

PSE Field Staff

It's official.........PSE picked up the boys and will sponser them as field staff shooters! We are so proud of them words just can't express. They have worked so hard and have had AWESOME support from some of our club members at Brigham Bowmen. They will get a great discount for now and hopefully work their way to where they will not have to pay for their equipment etc. They are up at the range at least 4-5 nights a week all while keeping their 4.0 grade point average .We are so excited to see what the future holds for them. Way to go boys Ü

Bridgerland Classic 3D Archery shoot- Cache Valley- March 2014

 

 

Shawn and the boys went and shot the Bridgerland Classic 3D archery shoot in Logan this past weekend. It was Kolt's first time shooting for money and he won his division. He was so surprised and excited because he felt bad after the shoot thinking he did not have a great day. He won $35.00 and Kyle took 3rd place in the men's and won $48.00. Pretty fun to do something you LOVE every weekend and win a little cash!

Timpanogos 3D Archery Shoot-Heber City

We had a fun day today at the Archery shoot. We all shot pretty well and had fun doing it. After the shoot we went to my favorite restaurant for lunch Don Pedro's! Kyle took 5th place overall in the men's bow hunter and picked up a check!

Kyle surprised us all when he decided to go to the Jr Prom! He and a bunch of his friends planned the whole thing. He asked Alex Hawley by putting sticky notes all over her room that said will you stick with me at the prom. She answered him back calling him to the office with a cute stuffed animal lion and some candy with a note that said, I'd be Lion if I said I didn't want to go to prom with you.

For their day date they had a BBQ at one of his friends home and then went on a scavenger hunt. For dinner they went to La Ferrovia Italian Restaurant on 25th street and then the dance was held at John Watson car dealership. Afterwards they met at another friends house for ice cream. He said they had a BLAST.

Archery Resume's

While in Vegas at the World Archery Festival Shawn had a chance to talk to some of the reps for PSE the bow company. After the boys shot and we were walking around the trade show one of the PSE reps came up to us and was asking about the boys as the conversation went on he had mentioned he had already heard about their scores and had talked to a few guys that shoot for them. He told us that he would get in contact with us regarding sponsoring the boys. We were THRILLED!! As it turns out they have asked the boys to submit a resume and we will see where it takes us from here.
