Lancaster Classic-Pennsylvania 2017

Kyle shot strong in Lancaster. He was able to make the elimination brackets and shot good again today although he was eliminated by 1 X. Looking through the brackets and seeing him shoot and hold his own right along with the best of the best in the archery world is so rewarding. I still remember his 1st day of kindergarten and how he was so shy and timid. Shawn and I bribed him that if he would get on the school bus and go to school then when he got home we would buy him a compound bow like Shawn's. Never in a million years would I have thought archery would become his passion. The people we meet and the places we go and all the memories along the way are priceless. I am so thankful I get to tag along and watch him chase his dreams.

Freestyle Men's Open Pro 1st Place

We had a double header this weekend!!! We started Saturday morning at the Desert Peak indoor 3D shoot in Tooele held by the Stansbury Oquirrh Bowmen then headed up to Twin Falls Idaho for the Southern Idaho Vegas Shoot Up hosted by Advantage Archery. Kyle came away with the win in the Pro class in Idaho andtook First place in Tooele. Shawn ended up 3rd place in the consolation shoot off in Idaho. Kolt did good. He made it several matches in the men's consolation but did not place. Fun times and good prep for Lancaster and Vegas.

Edge Archery-Ladies Night Out

I had a blast tonight at Edge Archery for Ladies night out shooting clay pigeons.

Brigham Bowmen-Vegas Warm Up 2017

Kyle had a great weekend and finished 1st place in the men's championship after a shoot off with Quinn McSpadden.He shot a 300 29X Saturday and 300 27X today. Shawn and Kolt shot good too!

Wilde Arrow Couples League

Shawn and I started our couples league tonight. The half time shoot was pretty challenging. As a couple one had to shoot inside the peach ring and the other person had to shoot and cut the string. I still don't know how I did it but I shot the center of the peach ring and Shawn got the string!!! We won movie gift cards and treats.
