The boys got a new tube from the Easter bunny this year so we decided to give it a try- We loaded up and headed out to Willard bay for a little fish'n-ski'n @ tube'n. After a brief little lesson I was brave enough to drive the boat but not before Shawn promised he would let us pull him on the tube! The boys kept daring me to throw him off but I'm just not that good at driving the boat yet- Maybe by the end of the summer Ü

After all the ski'n and tube'n we got the fishing poles out and had a blast- The fishing was AWESOME- We caught a bunch of wipers- and boy do they give you a heck of a fight getting them to the boat. Kolt thought they were going to pull him right in with them!

Cherry Hill

We had so much fun today at Cherry Hill- I had never been before. The boys have been a few times with grandparents but today was the first time I took them. We had a ton of fun on the lazy river and tube rides. We had a little picnic ( Thanks Subway) for lunch and then pretty much hung out all day... Nothing better to do on a hot summer day right! Summer is finally here and were LOVING it

Splish Spash- A Fun Day At The Pool!

Kyle is at Scout camp this week so Kolt and I decided we wanted to go have some fun too- We asked his friend Benji to go with us to the pool- We went to the North Shore pool in North Ogden- It was really fun! It was such a beautiful day today Ü

Rainy Day Bowling

Today we decided to venture out and go bowling- This rain is getting so old! The kids did pretty good as for me not so great! O-well we had fun anyways! Kolt the winner Kyle came in 3rd Kort took 2nd And you guessed it- I was last---- It's been a long time since I went bowling!

He started moving out

It's official- Shawn started moving his stuff out to the leather shop! I am so happy to get my laundry room back! It's so funny because he can make a mess out of my laundry room but when I go out to see the shop he makes me take my shoes off!

Batting Cages

Today I took the boys to Toad's to practice their batting for baseball. They did really good once they got use to it. It took the 1st 25 balls to get use to it other than that they did great. Kyle's best was 22 out of 25 and Kolt's best was 17 out of 25. Pretty cheap entertainment. it's only $2.00 for 25 balls or $16.00 for 250 balls.

Disneyland

We had so much fun at Disneyland- The boys were at the perfect age to ride all the fun rides and walk the whole day. Wow- I forgot how much walking you do there. We stayed late one night and watched the fireworks show. It was amazing Ü

Fishing In The Ocean

We went on a chartered fishing boat out in the Ocean. We went out about 5 p.m. and got back in around 10 p.m. It was beautiful- I was really surprised that I was not scared. I don't know how to swim and I am paranoid of the water. I had lots of fun running around taking pictures and watching the seals tangle every ones fishing lines! We could even see sting rays swimming around the boat!

The boat had a kitchen in it and they cooked us up the best hamburgers!

Shawn and the boys caught a ton of fish- They had sooooo much fun. The fish were pretty small- I was a bit surprised- I thought they would catch huge fish out on the ocean but none of them were very big. The red one is a poisonous Scorpion Perch- They said it was very poisonous to touch but delicious to eat!

Horse Races At Los Alamitos

We went to the horse races at Los Alamitos race track. It was so much fun- We had fun betting and watching all the races It brought back lots of memories! It was lots of fun because Shawn's relatives had a horse running and it WON... We all got to go down and get in the win picture! The boys thought that was pretty cool! What? Holy crap am I in the right bathroom? That's exactly what I thought when I went in to use the Ladies restroom... I even walked back out to see if I was in the right one... Yep I was and there was no seats on any of them.

Sum Beach......Sum Where

We went to about 10 different beaches- We got on pacific coast highway and just drove around to all of them. We went shopping, watched the surfers, collected sea shells, We even hiked up to a sea cave. It was so beautiful and so much fun Ü

Primm Nevada

We Stayed at Buffelo Bills in Primm, Nevada on our way to Disneyland- The boys had a ball. I went shopping at the outlet mall and Shawn took the boys swimming. When I got back we went to dinner and some guy came up to us and gave us 4 free all day ride passes! (they were $30.00 a piece) So off we went to all the rides. They had a really scary roller coaster- I went on it once and I will never do it again! I must be getting old cuz it scared the crap out of me. The boys talked me into going on the log ride! Hey dude! How's the 3D movie?
